It is snowing and blowing today. Temperatures are supposed to get down

to -25 C tonight. ..When the wind blows here the old shack gets a mite drafty.

I will likely have to put a rock on my plate to hold it on the table while I eat.

Any thoughts of outdoor activities have long since evaporated. I think I will spend the

day close to the stove and play with my watercolor set. I may be getting older,

but my mind is staying young. Maybe that is why the wife keeps teling me not

to act so childlish.

Very cold here as well, last two nights just below 0 degrees F.  No snow for the next week or so and thats fine with me.

Little snow here today not much an inch or so. Temps cool around 12F   . Me I have been battleing a head and chest cold for about 11 days .  My lungs have been taking a beating. Want to tie uo some flies but have no energy . Looking fwd to warmer weather. Come on spring
